Yashin joined Quayle Munro in 2016 from Rothschild where he spent almost 10 years in both London and Johannesburg.
During the last five years at Rothschild, Yashin focused on advising financial institutions in the UK and globally.
Yashin has advised on all aspects of corporate finance across a range of sub-sectors, including banking, private banking, non-life insurance, structured products, wealth management and exchanges.
Notable transactions include:
- The acquisitions of BSI SA by EFG International and of the LME by the HKEX
- The IPOs of Dutch non-life insurer ASR; challenger bank TSB and structured products provider EFG Financial Products
- Advising HM Treasury on its review into the case for an RBS Bad Bank
Yashin graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Business Science (Hons) in Actuarial Science and Finance.
