Meet some of our Analysts

Zoe Barb – Analyst

“From the start, as an Analyst at QM, you are staffed on live deals as part of small deal teams, affording you significant responsibility and ownership of roles. In addition, you are exposed to high levels of client interaction, for example, within six months of starting on the QM Graduate Programme I travelled to Sweden and the Netherlands for client meetings.

My typical day-to-day workstreams include financial and customer analysis, preparing marketing and transaction materials, running a due diligence process between prospective buyers and clients, as well as overseeing general project administration. In my first year I was involved in three sell-side transactions from pitch to signing. This enabled me to quickly understand what is required at each step of a transaction, develop core technical and process skills and further enhance my soft skills.”

Zoe joined Quayle Munro in 2016 after completing an internship at Vermilion Partners in Beijing.

Zoe graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies with BSc International Management for China.

Callum Pirie – Analyst

“As part of Quayle Munro, you are given the opportunity to grow in your role as part of a small team, which offers you a high level of responsibility from the start. On one of my first projects, I was given the responsibility of drafting both the pitch materials and the corporate presentation that is delivered by management to prospective buyers. This was in addition to being in charge of the administration related to the process. This high level of responsibility in my first sell-side deal meant I was fully involved in the process as a whole, and gave me the opportunity to understand what is required when working on a transaction from start to finish. The education I gained from that experience was invaluable going forward.”

Callum joined Quayle Munro in 2015 as a member of the Financial Services Team. He was previously at Aberdeen Asset Management as part of their Financial Reporting team.

Callum graduated from the University of Oxford in 2013, with a degree in History from Hertford College.
