Advised Espresso Group on its sale to Discovery Communications Inc

Quayle Munro is pleased to announce that it has advised the shareholders of Espresso Group Limited ("Espresso Education"), a global creator and distributor of award-winning, digital K-12 educational content, on its sale to Discovery Communications Inc. Quayle Munro worked with Atwood Capital Partners on the transaction.

Founded in 1997 and based in London, Espresso Education provides digital teaching and learning resources to the global K-12 education market. Espresso’s products are based on a unique library of proprietary, educational content which is expertly selected, contextualised and aligned to key curriculum objectives. Its broad range of interactive, multi-sensory resources addresses a wide range of learning abilities and is proven to engage students – supporting deeper and wider learning. The Company now serves more than 9,000 Primary and Secondary schools in the UK, US and Sweden and Espresso Primary, the Company’s UK primary school product, has established a market leading position in the English primary school market.
